USE OF YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION

Please read our privacy policy which explains our commitment to data protection and the uses which we will make of your information. Information collected through the registration process is collected by the Lawn Tennis Association for use by it for the purposes set out in the Privacy Policy.

Your details may be made available to other registered users of this site to enable them to contact you. If you wish to keep your details private make sure you tick the 'hide' check boxes in your profile, once you have registered.

The Lawn Tennis Association may also share your information with carefully selected sponsors and other organisations offering products or services which it considers may be of interest to you. Any benefit which may be received as a result will be applied towards the objects of the Lawn Tennis Association.

In processing your information for the purposes listed in the Privacy Policy, it is possible that your personal information may be stored or transferred outside the UK to countries where data protection law is less stringent than in the UK. This might happen for example if another registered user is located in such a country.

PRIVACY POLICY

The TotalTennis Sites. This website is part of the TotalTennis community network of sites, consisting of the main TotalTennis site administered by the Lawn Tennis Association and a number of "sub-sites" administered by county lawn tennis associations, clubs and others (together "the TotalTennis Sites"). All participating members of the TotalTennis community are committed to responsible processing of personal information in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998.

Use of registered user information by the administrator of this site. Personal information is collected from registered users of the TotalTennis Sites. This personal information is used by the collecting site for the following purposes:

  • registration, membership and database compilation and administration;
  • provision to you, by e-mail and otherwise, of site access, goods, services and information requested by you through the site;
  • (where you have so agreed) making your details available to other registered users of this site to enable them to contact you;
  • statistical analysis, market research and site use evaluation;
  • diagnosis of defects in site functionality.

Use of registered user information by the Lawn Tennis Association. Registered user information is also collected by the Lawn Tennis Association, which will use registered user information for the following purposes:

  • the same purposes for which registered user information is used by the site administrator; and
  • where you have agreed that it may do so, the Lawn Tennis Association may also share your information with carefully selected sponsors and other organisations offering products or services which it considers may be of interest to you. Any benefit which may be received as a result will be applied towards the objects of the Lawn Tennis Association.

Hosting. The TotalTennis Sites are currently hosted by Verio for the Lawn Tennis Association on behalf of the TotalTennis community. Verio has undertaken to provide suitable levels of security for information collected from the TotalTennis Sites and is not permitted to make any independent use of such information.

Cookies and use of casual visitor information. The TotalTennis Sites may use cookies (messages stored by your web browser) to collect site usage statistics. Subject to that, no personal information is collected from casual visitors who do not register.

Updating and correction. Please e-mail us at address if you want to update or correct any of the information which you have provided to us.

Changes to the privacy policy. This privacy policy may be changed from time to time and will apply to you in the form available as at your latest visit.

Third party sites. This privacy policy applies only to the TotalTennis Sites. Neither the Lawn Tennis Association nor any member of the TotalTennis community controls any third party sites linked to this site and cannot be responsible for use of your personal information by such other sites.

This site. This site, http://cambridgeshire.totaltennis.net, is administered by Mr. Keith Heron and is part of the TotalTennis community of sites.
